Unknown — It’s a suspense thriller, with not much of the suspense thriller feel. haha. but still good i guess, nothing outstandingly great though. the plot could have been thickened but it kinda died after a while.
The Time Traveler’s Wife (re-watched!) — one of my favourite movies of all time! you can re-watch this movie again and again and almost see no flaw in it. beautifully edited, beautifully told.. am currently finishing up the book ;D
X-Men: First Class — hmm, what can i say? it was alright. i guess if you’re an X-Men fan, you’d be all craze.. it was a good prequel, well taught and written, liked how it tied in some American history lessons for me, SPOILER! now i know all about the Cuban Missile Crisis.
Transformers: Dark of the Moon — had doubts cause the 2nd movie SUCKED but 3rd time’s the charm ey? Dark of the Moon didn’t disappoint, i especially LOVED the “broken skyscraper” scene! Read about how that scene was done here. :D
Saving Private Ryan — bloody, gruesome and nicely done. i think it might be my favourite war movie, and i don’t really like war movies.
VIII — long-winded, barely understood it, okay i suppose but i wouldn’t watch the sequel, that is, if it ever hit the big screen.
Aftershock — kinda sad but i didn’t exactly cried. music was what made the sad parts touching but like i said, i didn’t cry. haha.
Let Me In — okay. i guess a vampire movie is just what it is: a vampire movie. lots of human blood, human falls in love with vamp (kinda), throw in some kids this time! wee!
Unthinkable — Samuel L. Jackson sold it in this movie. great psychological thriller, really “unthinkable” what he’d do to break the human mind through bodily torture and others.
Fast Five — haha, what can i say? fast cars just isn’t really my kinda thing i guess. but that massive vault down the tar road scene, WHOA.
Super 8 — sorta liked it, in a lame/geeky way. i guess it’s those typa feel good movie, has horrible comedic timing but with loads and loads of mysterious/thiller ACTION, bring it!
The Illusionist — Somehow, I prefer The Prestige more. Kinda expected the outcome, kinda. Still a good movie.
The King’s Speech — AWESOME. Great acting, great editing, just a great movie. I was inspired, and it reminded me of my “someone” who stammers too, HAHA!
TRON: Legacy — I know it’s typical but I liked it ;) Reminds me of Spy Kids, ah, those were the days.
I Am Number Four — I don’t remember the storyline, at all. Haha!
Cinderella Man — Inspirational true story.
Love and Other Drugs — I like Anne Hathaway and Jake Gyllenhaal, add them together and it’s LOVE! and other drugs :P ‘Twas a good movie with funny as well as sad moments :’)
Megamind — I really admire the storyline. I like how it’s unconventionally conventional. HAHA.
Thor — Hot guy, kinda cheesy storyline. Nothing really special but effects were superb.
Jerry Maguire (‘96) - Blah, I thought it was OK. Just a movie famous for its one-liners ey? HAHA. I’ve only just started watching movies from the ’90s cause back then I guess I was too young to understand ‘em (or I was only interested in Aladdin or Tarzan, HAHA).
The Truman Show (‘98) - I can’t believe I’ve only watched this NOW. Honestly, I have never heard of it, let alone watched the trailer so WOW, total shocker for me. HAHA! Guess it was a good thing I watched the movie without knowing anything about it. The movie is so relevant to the media now, with reality shows like Kimora and Kardashians. Awesome.
Big (‘88) - AWW. Such a cute movie. Tom Hanks is too cute! I think I’mma watch more old movies, where they focus on the people, rather than cars or guns or girls in bikinis. LOL.
It Could Happen To You (‘94) - Cute. Another movie that focuses on people and relationship. Hollywood was so innocent back then <3
Rumor Has It (‘05) - I liked it. Rather unique story, although kinda gross if you think about it, SPOILER! doing it with a guy who has done both your mom and grandma! LOL.
Devil (‘10) - Watched it at the cinemas, it’s fine I guess. Not the BEST story ever told. I love the first scene when the whole world was upside down, feels like a thrill ride.
True Blood (Season 1) - HAHA. Can I say no comment? Ok, it was soft porn! LOL.
Inception — Simply awesome, cool concept, well edited, made my brain fried-up with multiple interpretations. Deserves a re-watch!
Percy Jackson & The Olympians: The Lightning Thief — The lamest movie I’ve ever watched! Too predictable, script was oh-so-cheesy and graphics were horrible. Sorry.
Coraline — Loved d animation, story was cool.
Afterlife — I quite like this movie despite the bombardment of scenes flaunting Christina Ricci’s pale-naked ‘dead’ body. Opened for a lot of interpretations too, although I personally think that she wasn’t (SPOILER!) dead.
